Very active in the community, Mr. Barnhart currently serves as the Chair person of the County of San Diego’s Planning Commission. He was past chair person of the California Contractors State License Board and is a former Commissioner of the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Commission, a former Executive Board Member of the Regional San Diego Chamber of Commerce, former President of the San Diego International Sports Council, and past Chair of the Qualcomm Stadium Board. He also served on the San Diego Super Bowl Host Committee and has been a member of the Del Mar Fair Board. He is active in the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America and is a past National President of AGC.
